Today we made a video we’ve been wanting to make for a really, really long time.
Why?
Because we had to do some serious investigative journalism and go undercover to sample some of what we were researching.
What were we researching?
The BEST donuts in the Twin Cities!! It’s a tough job…but somebody’s gotta do it! Hehe.

WHERE CAN YOU FIND THE BEST DONUTS IN THE TWIN CITIES?
The answer is simple: Glam Doll Donuts, 2605 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408.
This fun shop opened in 2013 and is located in the very hip “Eat Street” neighborhood…an eclectic area with dozens of restaurants serving food from all over the world. Someday we’ll do a “Tour of Eat Street” blog/vlog…and we’ll be very happy about that mission! Hehe.
They are open weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and weekends from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Be warned: when the donuts sellout, they close up shop…so you may want to get there a bit before closing. We visited towards the end of the day, and they were already sold out of vegan donuts.
Glam Doll Donuts is a happy place where every donut is a work of art! They prepare their doughs, fillings and icings from scratch…and you can tell. They specialize in artisan donuts in quirky flavors with very fun names. It’s so cute!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A VISIT TO GLAM DOLL?
Glam Doll Donuts are served in hip and retro digs full of cool charm!
It’s a pink-dipped fantasyland with a vintage photobooth, comfy patio and everywhere you look you’ll find Instagram-worthy decor.
The first time we ever visited they were playing Mariah Carey’s “Glitter” soundtrack…and Kitty knew she was in heaven. Lol.
They even have a rotating collection of art from talented local artists. Be sure to check out their creative creations and snap a pic to share on social media.
IF YOU GO…DON’T MISS OUT…
First and foremost, don’t forget to pair your donut with a cup of coffee, malt or shake! Their coffee is suppppper yummy!
Be sure to take a minute and try their old-timey photobooth…it’s sooo fun!
Stay awhile and play a board game with friends or family. They have a large selection of games you can use while there. It’s a great way to spend a cozy afternoon.
Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) is located nearby, and many students hang out at Glam Doll while working on homework. So, be on the
lookout for the next Picasso!
CONCLUSION
If you are looking for the BEST DONUTS in the Twin Cities, Glam Doll is the place for you. They have excellent vegan options if you are feeling like being a bit more health-conscious. You’ll definitely want to snap some pix or pose for a cute selfie, because the vibe at Glam Doll just can’t be beat. The staff is friendly, the treats are amazing, and every thing looks like unicorn just threw up glitter everywhere. What more can you ask for?
