CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating an 82-year-old man who vanished after heading to Corpus Christi, Texas earlier this month. Harvey Pearson, of Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota left his home on November 6, telling family he was traveling south to escape the cold. Concerns are growing after he lost contact with his loved ones shortly after arriving.
Last Known Contact
Pearson’s family says he left them a voicemail on the evening of November 7, stating he had arrived in Corpus Christi, Texas. However, that was the last communication they received from him. According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA), this silence is uncharacteristic.
The agency noted that Pearson is “very active on social media” but has not posted since the night of November 7. “No family members nor the reporting party have been able to get ahold of Harvey since that date and both of his phones are now off,” the BCA added.
Family Shares Concerns
Loved ones have expressed increasing alarm, citing changes in Pearson’s behavior in recent months. “Reporting party states that Harvey is vulnerable and has been having recent memory issues, forgetfulness, and mood changes,” authorities explained. Family members say Pearson is typically in frequent contact with friends and relatives, making his sudden silence especially troubling.
Officials believe Pearson was traveling in his 2005 silver Chevy Silverado when he disappeared. They have released this information to assist the public in identifying his vehicle.
