Wristband Pickup: Where and When?
- Where do I pick up my wristband? When can I pick up my wristband? BTMF ticket holders must exchange their tickets (printed ticket or confirmation email ready on phone) for wristbands before going to any BTMF venues. Wristbands are non-transferrable and non-refundable. One wristband per person. Each individual accessing the event must have their wristband on their wrist at all times.
- Wristband exchange: Available day-of on Friday, February 16, and Saturday, February 17, at the Sheldon Theatre Box Office, 443 W 3rd St, Red Wing, MN 55066, through the BTMF staff from 12-9PM daily. Note: Tickets may only be picked up by the original buyer with a valid photo ID.
Ticket Purchase: Where and How?
- Can I buy tickets in person? Where can I do that? You can buy 1-day and 2-day passes at the Sheldon Theatre from Big Turn staff between 12-9PM on Friday, February 16, and Saturday, February 17. Tickets are exclusively available online up until Friday at 12 noon. You can pay with cash or card.
- Can I buy or pick up tickets at each individual venue? No. Wristbands are available exclusively online at bigturnmusicfest.com before Friday, February 16. During the event, you can purchase tickets from BTMF staff at the Sheldon: 443 W 3rd St, Red Wing, MN 55066.
- When do prices increase? Prices increase as each tier sells out and will change to day-of pricing at 12:01 AM on Friday, February 16. Day-of prices will then be applied to Friday and Saturday 1-day passes, along with 2-day weekend passes.

- Does my wristband let me see all the artists performing? Yes! Your wristband is your ticket to enter the festival, each venue, and all artist performances. Note there are venue capacities that are required for each venue. Arrive early if there’s a band you REALLY want to see.
- Can I change my ticket from a one day to a two day? Yes. Contact the festival and they’ll provide guidance on changing your ticket. We look forward to seeing you both nights!
- I can no longer make it. Can I get a refund? No, they are not able to offer refunds. They are able to transfer your ticket to another individual’s name. Please contact the festival to transfer your ticket.

- What if a venue is full? With 21 venues ranging in size from 30 capacity to 500, it’s bound to happen. But no fear! There are plenty of venues and space for nearly 3,500 people – meaning plenty of venues will have capacity.
- What if there’s inclement weather? We’re Minnesotans – we know the weather in February can be tough, but feel confident that BTMF will happen rain or shine or snow or blizzard. As a reminder, wristbands are non-refundable, even in inclement weather.
Festival Experience:
- Are you doing Log Books this year? Not the Log Books you’ve seen in the past. The festival is moving towards a more sustainable model and wanted to cut down on paper use. Instead of a full book, they are offering 1-page that can be folded to fit in your pocket. These will be available at venues starting the week of the event and throughout the weekend.
- Is there a map of the festival? Youbetcha! The map is coming soon and will be available on their website.
- Will you have merchandise for sale? This year, they’re doing more merch than ever before. Beanies, limited edition Buoy tees, scarves, and patches are available. Artist merch will only be available at the venue where the specific band plays. Pre-ordered merch will be picked up with your wristband. Week of and day-of the event, merchandise will be available exclusively at Tootsie Too’s in downtown Red Wing.

- Where is Big Turn? Big Turn is located at 21 venues throughout the picturesque town of Red Wing, Minnesnowta. Most venues are within a 3-block radius!
- I’m driving to Big Turn. Where can I park? Red Wing is a parking-friendly city with tons of street parking and a few ramps throughout the downtown. Remember, don’t drink and drive!
Safety and Rules:
- How do I get back to my hotel safely? Please be responsible. Many of the venues are within walking distance so you shouldn’t need to drive between them. Lyfts, taxis, and other means of transportation are available to take you home safely.
- What can’t I bring? Please view the list on their website to see what you can and cannot bring in specific to different areas of the festival. Prohibited items include glass, weapons, drones, illegal substances, outside alcohol (unless it’s a sealed water bottle), professional cameras with detachable lenses longer than 2″ long, and pets. Note that all items are subject to change without notice.
