This Blue Ox is a gem for Wisconsin music lovers. Started in 2015, this festival is all about giving fans a cozy and friendly Bluegrass and Americana music experience. The folks running the show have over 30 years of experience in organizing music festivals, so you know you’re in good hands.
They’ve made it their mission to create a festival that’s enjoyable for everyone, no matter their age. With over 35 artists performing on three stages over three days, plus on-site camping, there’s something for everyone!
In the past, the festival has seen performances by big names like Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Avett Brothers, and Old Crow Medicine Show, to name just a few. This year’s lineup includes: Leftover Salmon, Sam Bush Band, Del McCoury Band, Band of Horses, and Sierra Ferrell, among others.
But Blue Ox is more than just music. There are music workshops where you can learn about Bluegrass, Americana, and other traditional string music genres. The Soul Sanctuary offers a peaceful spot for yoga, sound meditation, and more, providing a perfect break from the festival buzz.
