As a Minnesotan, I’ve always had a fairly positive view of Charles Lindbergh. But during my research for today’s daily podcast episode, my hubby Jack and I found out some very disturbing things about the legendary aviator.

Lindbergh’s life was tinged with controversy. His connections to Nazism, beliefs in eugenics, and secret personal life, including affairs and unrecognized children in Germany, reveal a complex character far from his public image.
Little Falls: Where It All Began
Born in 1902 in Detroit, Michigan, Lindbergh’s formative years were spent in Little Falls, Minnesota. Here, on a 110-acre farm along the Mississippi River, his life’s journey took shape. Little Falls, with its rich history dating back to 1848, played a pivotal role in shaping Lindbergh’s early life.
Charles A. Lindbergh State Park
In Little Falls stands the Charles A. Lindbergh State Park, named after Lindbergh’s father. It’s a place of historical significance, housing the Lindbergh family home and a replica of The Spirit of St. Louis’ cockpit.
