OAKLAND, CA – Get ready for some serious cuteness overload! Keeper Nikki at the Oakland Zoo just shared an adorable video of Briar, a tiny mountain lion cub who’s getting a second chance at life.
This little guy, just 4 weeks old, was found all alone in El Dorado County, California, and had to be rescued by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife after they couldn’t find his mom. But don’t worry! Today Briar is safe and sound at the Oakland Zoo’s vet hospital, getting round-the-clock care.
“We will take care of little Briar until a forever home for him can be found,” says Nikki. From playing in piles of hay to enjoying a variety of toys, this cute baby is living his best life!
