COLUMBUS, OH – A late-night discovery in Columbus, Ohio, has left a community searching for answers as police investigate a body found in an abandoned car wash. Columbus Division of Police officers were called to the Georgesville Square Shopping Plaza on Wednesday night after receiving reports of a body found inside a long-abandoned car wash.
Upon arrival at the former Super Wash, located near Holt Road and Georgesville Road, officers entered one of the car wash bays and confirmed the presence of a badly decomposed body.
Coroner Steps In to Confirm Details
Authorities quickly called in the Franklin County Coroner’s Office, which identified the remains as belonging to a human male. However, due to the advanced state of decomposition, it was impossible to determine much else at the scene.
