Don’t Rely On People – Rely On God!
People may let us down, but God never will! Discover the freedom that comes from relying on God and not on people.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Life can be unpredictable, and people may let us down. But God never will. When we lean on Him, we find true stability.
Instead of depending on others, let’s focus on building our faith in God.

God’s Unfailing Love
People can have good intentions but still fall short. God’s love, however, is perfect and unfailing. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
This verse reassures us that God’s support is steadfast. His love never wavers.
Embrace God’s Plan
We often look to others for guidance, but God’s plan is the ultimate path. Jeremiah 29:11 declares, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Trusting in His divine plan brings peace and direction, even when human plans fail.
Here are three affirmations I’d like you to think about today.
Affirmations to Consider:
- I trust in God’s plan for my life.
- God’s love is my constant support.
- I find peace in relying on the Lord.
Rely on God’s Strength
People may fail to give us the strength we need, but God’s strength is endless. Philippians 4:13 states, “I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.”
By relying on God’s power, we can overcome any obstacle. His strength is our greatest resource.
God is Faithful!
In times of need, it’s easy to seek help from those around us. But remember, God is always there, ready to support us. Psalm 55:22 encourages us, “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”
God’s faithfulness is unending!
Today’s Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being my constant support and guide. Help me to rely on You more each day and trust in Your unfailing love. When I feel let down by others, remind me that Your strength and plan are always perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
