Dive into 75 years of thrilling history with the Original Wisconsin Ducks – your ticket to endless fun and adventure in Wisconsin Dells!

Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin – Since way back in 1946, there’s been a tour that’s all about fun and adventure in Wisconsin Dells, and it’s still going strong today! It’s called the Original Wisconsin Ducks, and it’s a one-of-a-kind experience.

Picture this: You hop on an old-school amphibious vehicle, just like the ones they used in World War II. These vehicles are now restored and ready to take you on an unforgettable journey. You’ll cruise on land and then splash into the Wisconsin River and Lake Delton. You’ll climb over sandbars, zoom through exclusive scenic wilderness trails, and even squeeze through narrow Red Bird Gorge. Sounds exciting, right?

But here’s the best part – this adventure has been thrilling people for 75 years! It’s the real deal, the one and only Original Wisconsin Ducks.

Now, you might wonder why they’re called “Ducks.” Well, it’s because they’re like amphibious ducks – they can swim in water and drive on land. These ducks have quite a history, starting back in 1942 when the military needed a way to transport troops and supplies during World War II. Fast forward to 1946, and the very first Duck tour was launched in Wisconsin Dells.

Helen Raab and friends took the wheel and started it all. They even formed the Dells Corporation to protect the beautiful wilderness they traveled through. And over the years, these Ducks have seen it all – from action in World War II to being used for everything from firefighting to water rescue.

But the adventure doesn’t stop there. In 1959, they got their classic green and white colors and the slogan “Fun! Adventure! On Land and Water!” That’s the spirit!

Now, in the present day, they’re still going strong with the world’s largest fleet of Ducks – 90 in total! And they’re ready to welcome you aboard for more Fun! Adventure! On Land and Water!
