Chillax in the US’s first floating sauna open to the public – an unforgettable experience! 🌊♨️🛁
A Floating Sauna on Lake Superior
Imagine unwinding in a steamy sauna, floating peacefully on a Minnesota lake. That’s exactly what awaits you at Sisu + Löyly in Grand Marais. Nestled on the beautiful North Shore of Lake Superior, this unique sauna offers not just relaxation but also incredible views. 🌊

The Sisu + Löyly Experience
Since its debut in downtown Grand Marais, Sisu + Löyly’s flagship location has become a must-visit spot.
With fire pits, a restaurant and cozy lounge, it’s a gorgeous place to unwind and watch the spectacular views of Lake Superior as you have your sauna.

But they’re most famous for the floating Nordic sauna, a first of its kind in Minnesota and likely in the US too! Launched in September 2023, it’s a hit for those seeking a mix of relaxation and adventure. ♨️
Why Grand Marais?
Although I live in the southern part of the state, Grand Marais is one of my absolute favorite towns in Minnesota. Jack and I make the trek up as often as we can to this sleepy, North Shore paradise.
