The bizarre encounter was all caught on a police officer’s bodycam, where Ross’s bold attempts to win over the cop were met with rejection, then mockery. What started as a lighthearted attempt at flirtation spiraled into an uncomfortable confrontation, leaving her in handcuffs.
The DUI Stop and Initial Encounter
The incident took place in November, when Ross was pulled over in Sarasota for driving erratically. Police say she stopped at green lights and ran over curbs, making it clear to officers that something was amiss.
Ross told the officers she had been drinking at a bar before getting behind the wheel. Wearing her Hooters tank top, she identified herself as a waitress at the popular chain.
Flirting with the Officer, Captured on Bodycam
As the officer began questioning Ross, she quickly turned to flirtation in an attempt to get out of the situation.
“We’re gonna make out here,” she told the officer, who didn’t entertain her offer and instead proceeded with the sobriety check.
Despite the lack of interest, Ross persisted, calling him “daddy” repeatedly, saying, “I will do anything for you, daddy” and, “I can’t keep my hands off of you.”
The officer, who appeared unfazed by her antics, responded with humor, telling her that, unfortunately, she would have to keep her distance.
Escalation: From Flirtation to Mockery
When Ross’s flirtations didn’t get the response she hoped for, she became more belligerent. After a series of rejections, she resorted to mocking the officer.
“Bro, don’t be such a f–king nerd,” she said, while the officer tried to keep his focus on the sobriety tests.
The officer calmly reminded her that the bodycam was recording everything, saying: “Anything we do is recorded and anyone can see that. Mom, dad, grandma, family.”
Ross didn’t seem concerned. “You think I give a f–k?” she retorted.
The Arrest and Legal Developments
Ross was not able to complete the sobriety tests, as her behavior became too disruptive. Instead, she was arrested and charged with DUI. She pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a pretrial hearing happened yesterday.
According to the police report, her driving behavior and her admission of drinking prior to the stop were key factors in her arrest.
