The incident unfolded at a Tampa residence when the man became trapped under his car while performing maintenance.

CPR and Defibrillator Deployed
“Start CPR,” an officer is heard saying in the video, as another grimly reports, “No pulse, no pulse.”
The urgency heightened when one officer mentioned grabbing an “ED,” shorthand for an automated external defibrillator.
The portable device, critical during cardiac arrest, was used while officers worked to stabilize the man.

“Thanks to the rapid response of our officers, they worked together to lift the car off him and provide critical life-saving care,” police said in a statement.
