Sweet Tooth Alert: Twin Cities Girl Scout Cookies Get Price Bump!
Craving Girl Scout cookies in the Twin Cities? Get ready to pay a bit more this year! Find out which flavors are flying off the shelves and where to get your fix! #GirlScoutCookies #TwinCities
Rochester, Minnesota – The beloved Girl Scout cookie season is back in the Twin Cities, but this year, it comes with a slight catch—a price increase!
In the southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and a part of Iowa region covered by the Girl Scouts River Valleys council, each box of cookies will now set you back $6, a whole dollar more than last year.
Last season, over 11,000 local Girl Scouts were out and about, selling a whopping 3.7 million boxes of cookies. This council is no stranger to success, often ranking in the top 10 for cookie sales across the country.
When it comes to favorites, Minnesotans have a clear preference. Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, and Peanut Butter Patties are the top picks.
However, there’s a twist this year. The Raspberry Rally, a new flavor that quickly became a fan favorite last year, won’t be making a comeback this season.
For those looking to get their hands on these sweet treats, chances are you’ll bump into a Girl Scout selling them at a local shopping center. If not, don’t worry! You can always track down a cookie seller through the Girl Scouts cookie finder.
