Winona, MN – Hey Feel-Good Fam! I’m Kitty Norton and today, I want to share a gentle reminder: “I will allow myself to rest when my body needs it.”
In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life and forget to take care of ourselves. But rest is essential for our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
This brings to mind an email I received from Brian, who shared this relatable story:
“Dear Kitty, I used to be the type of person who would push myself to the limit, working long hours and never taking a break. I thought that rest was a sign of weakness, and I always felt guilty for taking time off. But one day, I hit a wall. I was exhausted, burnt out, and on the verge of a breakdown. That’s when I realized that I needed to make a change. I started prioritizing rest, taking breaks when I needed them, and learning to listen to my body. It wasn’t easy at first, but it’s made such a difference in my life. I’m happier, healthier, and more productive than ever before. I wish I had learned the importance of rest sooner!”
