PITTSBURGH, PA – An adorbale Pennsylvania groundhog made an unexpected appearance in a most unusual locationāinside a claw machine at a mini golf course. The incident occurred at Meadows Family Fun Mini Golf in Duncansville, surprising both employees and visitors alike.
Discovery of the Furry Intruder
The groundhog was discovered nestled among the stuffed animals inside the claw machine, blending in with the array of toys.
Employees at the mini golf course were taken aback when they noticed the unexpected guest inside the machine, prompting them to call for assistance.
Pennsylvania Game Commission Steps In
The Pennsylvania Game Commission was contacted to handle the situation. State Game Warden Salvadore Zaffuto was dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Warden Zaffuto observed the groundhog moving beneath the pile of stuffed animals before it eventually poked its head out, surveying its surroundings.
Safe Removal and Release
To safely remove the groundhog from the claw machine, the vending machine company was contacted to unlock the machine.
Once opened, Warden Zaffuto carefully captured the groundhog and released it back into the wild, unharmed.
