The crash happened just after 3:00 p.m. in Marion, Ohio, and involved a Marion City Schools bus and a 2014 Jeep Cherokee. Miraculously, no one suffered life-threatening injuries, but the collision left a dramatic scene behind.

Details of the Collision

The accident occurred on Delaware Avenue in Marion when the school bus, traveling south, collided with a Jeep that was turning west onto a service road leading to a Walgreens.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Authorities responded swiftly to the scene. The Ohio Highway Patrol’s Commercial Enforcement Unit conducted a thorough inspection of the bus, as is standard procedure. Marion City Schools officials were also on site, working to notify parents and assist with reunifications of the students.

In the aftermath, Crowe was cited for failure to yield at an intersection, which police determined contributed to the crash.

With the quick actions of emergency responders and school district personnel, the situation was handled efficiently. While the injuries were not severe, the collision raised serious concerns over road safety, and the investigation into the cause continues.
