Maple Grove, Minnesota – Winter is here, and it’s time to embrace the chilly Minnesota wonderland in downtown Maple Grove! The Maple Grove Ice Castles are back, and it’s your chance to step into a real-life fairy tale.
What’s the Scoop?
The Ice Castles in Maple Grove opened their frosty gates for another season. Brace yourself for a world of magic as you explore ice caverns, twisty mazes, slippery tunnels, and thrilling slides.
When and Where?
The frosty fun is happening now…and it’s just a short stroll from Central Park along Lakeview Drive. Mark it in your calendar because this winter wonderland is here until Sunday, Feb. 18.
How Much?
Admission won’t break the ice. It’s $16 for the little ones and $23 for those 12 years old and up. Learn more here.

When to Go?
Ice Castles welcomes you on specific days:
- Monday and Thursday: 4-9 PM (closes at 10 PM)
- Friday: 4-10 PM (closes at 11 PM)
- Saturday: 11:30 AM-10 PM (closes at 11 PM)
- Sunday: 11 AM-8 PM (closes at 9 PM)
- They take a break on Tuesday and Wednesday, so plan accordingly.

Getting There
Your icy adventure awaits at 12500 82nd Ave N., Maple Grove, MN 55369. Parking is a breeze with FREE parking available across the street in the parking ramp between Lifetime Fitness and the Library. There’s also street parking along Main Street. Just remember, no parking at Lifetime Fitness – they mean business!
Time Ticketing
When you grab your ticket, you’re reserving an arrival window. So, if you snag a ticket from 7-7:30 PM, make sure to arrive during that half-hour. Early birds, you’ll have to wait until your time slot to enter the frosty kingdom.
