MEMPHIS, TN — A Tennessee man with a history of indecent exposure has been arrested again after exposing himself to two missionaries at his Memphis apartment. Todd Albritton, 55, was booked into Shelby County Jail on Monday. Police say the latest incident happened on Tuesday, February 25, at his residence near Shelby Farms Park.
According to authorities, Albritton contacted two missionaries and invited them to his apartment for “mission work.” When they arrived and knocked on his door, they saw him through a window—completely naked and engaging in a lewd act. The missionaries immediately fled and contacted police.
Prior Convictions for Indecent Exposure
This is not Albritton’s first arrest for similar crimes.
In May 2015, he was caught driving naked in Memphis while wearing only a black hat and sunglasses.
He later admitted to the act in an interview, claiming he had taken Ambien and Seroquel, which were not prescribed to him. He pleaded guilty to indecent exposure and was sentenced to six months in prison.
Two years later, in May 2017, Albritton was arrested again for three indecent exposure incidents in Germantown, TN. Details of those cases were not publicly available, but he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nearly a year in prison.
Upcoming Court Appearance
Albritton is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday morning.
Authorities have not released additional details about his current case.
A Moment for Reflection

The missionaries who experienced this disturbing encounter showed strength in quickly seeking help, and their safety remains the most important concern. The Memphis community, like many others, faces challenges but continues to stand together against those who violate trust and decency. While past actions cannot be undone, there is always hope for change, accountability, and a future where such offenses no longer threaten those trying to do good. — Jack and Kitty Norton, Founders and Editors
