TEWKSBURY, MA – A daring break-in at a Massachusetts Hallmark store has local police on the trail of a suspect who was caught on video pulling off a heist using an unusual entry method. Early Monday morning, Tewksbury officers were called to the scene after a report of a wide-open back door—and what they discovered inside was even more shocking.

Incident Details

Around 5:25 a.m. Monday, officers were dispatched to Kay’s Hallmark Store at 1900 Main Street in Tewksbury after a report of the back door being “wide open.”

Upon arriving, police noticed several ceiling tiles missing near the entrance. Investigators suspect the suspect gained access through the roof, using air vents to make their way into the store.

The cash registers inside appeared to have been tampered with, and an undisclosed amount of money was missing from the store.
