NEW PRAGUE, MN — What appeared to be an ordinary massage parlor in this quiet Minnesota community allegedly concealed a darker operation, according to law enforcement officials. Police executed a search warrant at 4 U Massage on First Street Southeast earlier this week, targeting what they suspect was an illegal prostitution enterprise.
Signs of Suspicious Activity
The investigation stretched back more than two years, with multiple red flags catching authorities’ attention.
In late 2022, the first report emerged when a client alerted police about inappropriate services offered during his appointment.
By mid-2024, the business had allegedly expanded its reach, advertising escort services online using the same contact information as the massage parlor.
The Evidence Mounts
In early 2025, three separate clients came forward with reports of staff offering sexual services. Some witnesses reported spotting surveillance cameras in the ceiling, potentially recording illegal activities.
During Monday’s raid, investigators sought various items they believed could serve as evidence, including business records and other materials.
The Aftermath
Following the police action, the business sits empty. All signage has been removed, and a dumpster now occupies the parking lot.
A 49-year-old woman, identified as the owner, faces potential charges including solicitation, promotion of prostitution, and second-degree sex trafficking. As of Friday, no formal charges had been filed, and the suspect was released from custody on Wednesday.
Like all suspects in criminal cases, the owner is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
