For the first time ever, a dedicated K-pop convention is coming to the Twin Cities, bringing South Korean music, dance, and culture straight to the heart of the Midwest. The event promises an electrifying experience, complete with a live concert, exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, and nonstop entertainment for die-hard K-pop lovers.

KPOP MINNECON Set to Make History
The highly anticipated KPOP MINNECON is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, at the DoubleTree by Hilton near the Mall of America. Hosted by MNKPOPCONNECT, a group known for organizing K-pop events in the Twin Cities, this one-day festival is expected to draw crowds from across the region.
While the headlining K-pop act remains a mystery, organizers have confirmed that a South Korean group will take the stage. Fans can also look forward to a meet-and-greet session, giving them a rare chance to get up close with their idols.
A Midwest Hotspot for K-Pop Enthusiasts
Minnesota has already proven itself as a K-pop hotspot, with thousands of fans gathering for past events. In October, an estimated 8,000 people packed the Mall of America rotunda for a last-minute performance by rookie girl group KATSEYE. Given the region’s growing K-pop community, KPOP MINNECON is expected to attract an equally massive crowd.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., fans will have plenty to do. Activities will include:
