DENVILLE, NJ – A routine day at a New Jersey massage parlor turned into a major police operation last week. Authorities stormed Oasis Spa in Denville, exposing an illegal operation where cash swapped hands for intimate services. The raid ended with two arrests, including the establishment’s owner, a cunning cash-hoarder—appropriately named Soon Bang—thrusting the quiet town into the spotlight of a multi-agency crackdown.

Raid Unveils Illegal Operation

On February 20, law enforcement descended on Oasis Spa, a business police say doubled as a brothel.

The prime suspect, 63-year-old Soon Bang from Fairview, was caught with stacks of U.S. dollars—money authorities linked to prostitution profits. Alongside Bang, 67-year-old employee Yushun Li from Flushing, Queens, was also taken into custody after the sting.

Charges Pile Up for Spa Duo

The illicit spa mastermind, Bang, faces serious allegations, including promoting prostitution, money laundering, and engaging in the illicit trade herself. Authorities noted Bang also uses the alias “Cindy,” though further personal details remain unclear.

Meanwhile, Li was slapped with charges for participating in the illegal acts.

Multi-Agency Task Force Strikes

This bust didn’t happen by chance—it stemmed from a coordinated effort across several law enforcement groups.

The Denville Township Police Department teamed up with heavy hitters like the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations Human Trafficking Task Force, the Secret Service, and prosecutor’s offices from Bergen and Morris Counties. The Edison Police Department and Morris County Sheriff’s Office also joined the takedown, pooling resources to dismantle the operation.

Investigation Presses On

While two suspects are now in custody, officials say the case is far from closed.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the probe continues, hinting at possible deeper ties or additional arrests tied to the devious diva’s spa scheme.

For now, Oasis Spa’s doors remain shut, leaving Denville residents buzzing about the scandal in their backyard—and giggling over the suspect’s perfect name.
