MIAMI, FL – In a shocking incident early Sunday morning, a massive yacht rented by iconic hip-hop producer Metro Boomin erupted in flames while docked outside one of Miami, Floridaās most popular strip clubs. The vessel, a 95-foot-long luxury yacht, was engulfed in fire only 30 minutes after it arrived at Booby Trap on the River, creating a spectacle that would leave witnesses in disbelief. Metro has worked with artists The Weekend, Travis Scott, Young Thug, and Future, and Travis Scott.
Fire Erupts Just Moments After Arrival
Around 3 a.m., the yacht arrived at the infamous adult entertainment venue, with Metro Boomin and several crew members aboard. Workers at the club immediately noticed smoke emanating from the boat, soon followed by the sound of fire alarms.
Fearing the worst, the clubās security team, led by Michael Marhefka, acted quickly to evacuate the 10 individuals onboard. Fortunately, everyone, including the hip-hop mogul and his team, was safely removed just as the fire began to spread.
A Massive Fire Response
As the fire intensified, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived in full force, deploying over 30 units from land and water to battle the flames. The yacht, with its enormous size and fuel capacity, presented an extreme challenge for the firefighters, but they worked tirelessly to control the blaze.
Spectators gathered along the riverfront, stunned by the towering inferno, some even describing the scene as unlike anything they had ever seen before.
The situation became even more alarming when the yacht, after burning for hours, sank into the Miami River. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. In response to the potential environmental risk, specialized equipment was used to manage the oil runoff caused by the fire.
Investigation Underway
The cause of the fire remains unclear, with authorities launching an investigation into what might have sparked the blaze.
As of now, Metro Boomin has not commented on the incident, leaving many questions unanswered. But the dramatic sight of the massive yacht sinking into the river will no doubt remain in the minds of those who witnessed it.
