Travelers Urged to Plan Ahead
With seven of the top 10 busiest travel days in TSA history occurring in the past month, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flights.
Most airlines recommend arriving two hours before a domestic flight and three hours before an international flight to allow ample time for security screening.
TSA PreCheck Offers Expedited Screening
Travelers enrolled in the TSA PreCheck program can enjoy a more streamlined security process, as they are not required to remove shoes, belts, light jackets, laptops, or liquids from their carry-on bags.
