Well, if you’re in Overland Park, Kansas or Madison, Wisconsin, chances are, that’s exactly what you’ll see! These two Midwestern cities have just been named among the happiest in the US for 2024, according to a new ranking by WalletHub.
The study looked at things like how emotionally and physically healthy people are, how much money they make and how many jobs there are, and what the overall vibe of the community is like. And let me tell you, Overland Park and Madison absolutely crushed it!

š Top of the Happiness Charts
Now, the number one spot went to Fremont, California, with San Jose and Irvine (also in California) rounding out the top five. But our Midwestern pals held their own, with Overland Park coming in at a super impressive second place and Madison snagging the fourth spot.

As for the Windy City itself, Chicago landed at number 83 on the list. But hey, that just means there’s room for improvement, right?
