The impending election is igniting fears about the economic landscape, prompting wealthy individuals to seek alternatives beyond American shores.
Interestingly, perceptions about life overseas differ based on political allegiance. Forty percent of millionaires believe that life would improve under a Harris presidency, while 35% feel the same regarding a Trump administration. Despite their political leanings, half of all millionaires express concerns about potential economic challenges that could arise, regardless of who wins.
Motivations for Relocation
The survey highlights a notable trend among younger millionaires, with 42% expressing interest in golden visas—programs that offer residency or citizenship in exchange for economic investment. This interest is even more pronounced among those aged 18 to 29, with 64% considering such options.

Canada emerges as the top destination for those contemplating relocation, followed closely by Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. However, the U.K. is also experiencing its own exodus of wealthy individuals, indicating a global pattern of affluent citizens seeking safer havens.
