Franklin, Wisconsin – One local teenager has taken the tech world by storm with his groundbreaking invention: a keyboard that knows what you’re going to type before you even hit the keys. Shamit Surana, a senior at Franklin High School, has spent years perfecting his design, which has earned him a shot at a $10,000 scholarship.

Shamit’s journey began as a project to learn computer design and coding, but it quickly evolved into something much bigger. He realized that keyboards haven’t changed much in the last 50 years, and he saw an opportunity to revolutionize the way we interact with computers.

His creation, the Elemental-75, is a highly customizable and intelligent keyboard that uses artificial intelligence to predict and complete repetitive tasks, making typing more efficient than ever.

The idea for Halo Keys, Shamit’s business, was born out of his passion for computers and his desire to improve human-computer interaction. He envisions a world where keyboards understand their users and can anticipate their needs. This concept has been developed through his work as an AI researcher at UW-Milwaukee and tested through crowdsourcing online. Shamit is now on the brink of producing his first 50 prototypes.

Shamit’s parents have always been amazed by their son’s brilliance and determination. From demanding games of Monopoly as a child to presenting them with a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) at just 16 to protect his business secrets, Shamit has always shown a keen interest in entrepreneurship.

But it’s not just his technological prowess that sets Shamit apart. He’s also a well-rounded individual, playing varsity soccer, performing in a regional orchestra, and even leading a design-thinking course for his peers. His impressive achievements have made him a finalist in the Junior Achievement Young Entrepreneur Live competition, where he’s ready to impress the judges with his innovative company.

Shamit Surana is a name to remember. With his mind-reading keyboard, he’s typing his way into the future of technology. Congrats, Shamit!

  1. What if someone wanted to use mind reading to scam people, secretly listen for later fraud criminal activity against you and or it back fired on you or to force you into something offensive you would not do or stealing accounts money from you or other types of invisible mocking terrorism?
