Minneapolis, Minnesota – Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the 43rd Annual Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF43)! This incredible event is making its grand return from April 11 to April 25, 2024 – and it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.
My hubby Jack and I love this festival and have had a great time going in previous years – we’re definitely planning on going next month!
A Celebration of International Cinema
The Twin Cities is the place to be if you love movies from all around the world. It’s one of the longest-running film festivals in the country, and it’s the largest annual celebration of international cinema in the region. You’ll get to watch around 200 amazing films that everyone’s talking about, from countries far and wide… without ever leaving Minnesota!

But MSPIFF43 isn’t just about watching movies – it’s also about having a great time! There will be tons of exciting parties, panels, and special guests. You might even get to meet some of the filmmakers themselves!

A Conversation with Roger & James Deakins
One of the highlights of the festival will be a special event on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 7:00PM. You’ll get to join in on a fascinating conversation with the legendary cinematographer Roger Deakins and his collaborator James Deakins. And that’s not all – they’ll also be screening the Oscar-winning movie Fargo, which features some of Roger Deakins’ most stunning work.
