Minneapolis, Minnesota – A new coffee shop is making waves by showcasing the rich flavors of Vietnamese coffee. Càphin, located in the Linden Hills neighborhood, is the city’s first Vietnamese coffee shop and truck, bringing a unique taste to the Twin Cities. Owners Savio and Jenny Nguyen are excited to be part of a growing trend in the U.S. to celebrate Vietnamese coffee culture.

Vietnam, known for being the largest producer of Robusta beans, offers a coffee experience that’s different from the Arabica beans most Americans know. The Nguyens are on a mission to highlight the bold and intense flavor of Robusta coffee, challenging the perception that it’s less desirable than its smoother counterpart.

One of Càphin’s most popular drinks is the Vietnamese egg coffee, which combines the robust taste of coffee with the sweetness of condensed milk and whipped egg yolk.

The menu also features unique ingredients like ube and pandan in their lattes, adding a touch of exotic flavor.

The Nguyens’ journey into the coffee world was inspired by their visits to Vietnamese coffee shops in Seattle.

Their coffee truck received a warm welcome in Minnesota, and they’re excited to bring their passion for Vietnamese coffee to their new brick-and-mortar location in the Twin Cities. The coffee truck will continue to operate on weekends during the summer, ensuring that fans can enjoy their favorite brews both in the shop and on the go.
