MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Get ready to cheer on some hometown heroes! Nine incredible athletes from Minnesota are packing their bags and heading to the City of Lights for the Paris Summer Olympic Games. These talented individuals have worked their hearts out to earn their spots on Team USA, and they’re ready to show the world what they’re made of!
🏅 Sunisa Lee: A Golden Gymnast
One of the most exciting stories coming out of Minnesota is that of Sunisa Lee, the gymnast who captured our hearts and a gold medal in Tokyo. When her teammate Simone Biles had to step back from the competition, Lee stepped up in a big way. Now, she’s ready to take on the world again in Paris!

But Lee isn’t the only Minnesotan to watch out for. Dakotah Lindwurm from St. Francis will be representing us in track and field, while Lara Dallman-Weiss from Shoreview is set to sail her way to victory. With so much talent across so many sports, it’s going to be a thrilling few weeks!
