ST. PAUL, MN – My hubby Jack and I arenât big drinkers. We might have a glass of wine once in a while, but more often than not, we keep it simple. When I go out with the gals in Minneapolis, Minnesota, I usually order a mocktail. Theyâre fun, flavorful, and leave me feeling refreshed. That got me thinkingâwhat are some of the best non-alcoholic mocktails to try?
Jack and I reached out to some of Minnesotaâs top mixologists to get their expert recommendations. Whether you’re hosting a party, having a cozy night in, or need a refreshing afternoon treat, these mocktails will fit the bill!
1. The North Woods Spritz
This sparkling mocktail captures the crisp, refreshing vibe of Minnesotaâs forests.
Ingredients:
- 3 oz sparkling water
- 1 oz cranberry juice (unsweetened)
- ½ oz maple syrup
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- Fresh rosemary sprig (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add cranberry juice, maple syrup, and lime juice.
- Top with sparkling water.
- Stir gently.
- Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

- Strain and let it cool.
Instructions for Mocktail:
- Add lemon juice and lavender syrup to a glass filled with ice.
- Top with sparkling water.
