How Did This Minnesota Teen Turn Childhood Dream Into Reality?
Meet Alex Wacker, the 18-year-old from Minnesota who turned his childhood dream into reality by becoming a locomotive conductor. #TrainDreams #MinnesotaYouth
Dilworth, Minnesota – When he was a young child Alex Wacker had a big dream. He loved trains so much that he wanted to drive the big orange ones one day. And guess what? At 18 years old, his dream just came true!
Alex now works as a locomotive conductor for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. He operates trains across Minnesota and North Dakota, delivering goods to communities he knows and loves. Every day, he gets to sit in the cab of those big orange trains he admired as a kid.
But it’s not just about driving trains for Alex. One of the best parts of his job is waving to his mom and friends from the train window as he passes by. It’s a small gesture, but it means the world to him.
