Incident Details Unfold
The crash occurred on Highway 7 when Salad’s Chevy Equinox collided with a Nissan Rogue driven by Lauren Olson, a student at Hopkins High School.
Olson had been waiting at a red light, preparing to make a left turn onto Williston Road. As she proceeded through the intersection after the light turned green, Salad’s vehicle reportedly sped past her right shoulder, striking her car and sending it crashing into a light pole.
Speeding and Reckless Driving Caught on Video

The posted speed limit in the area is 55 mph, but Salad was reportedly driving between 68 and 74 mph, and at the moment of impact, his speed was clocked at approximately 86 mph.
No Evidence of Substance Use
Following the crash, Salad’s blood was tested, and no alcohol or controlled substances were detected.
Despite the absence of impairing substances, Salad’s driving record is far from clean. He has prior convictions related to driving with a suspended license, careless driving, and other traffic violations.
Arrest Warrant and Previous Legal Troubles
Salad is currently not in custody, but a warrant has been issued for his arrest in connection with this incident. In addition to this warrant, Salad also has an active warrant for his arrest due to a failure to appear in court for a separate misdemeanor theft charge.
