OAK PARK, MN – A serious motorcycle accident occurred early Friday morning in Morrison County, Minnesota. The crash took place on Partridge Road, south of 153rd Street, around 6 a.m. The rider, Cody Keeler, a 33-year-old resident of Oak Park, Minnesota, was heading north when he collided with a deer.

In light of the recent tragic accident involving Cody Keeler, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the importance of supporting one another in times of need.

As we hold Cody and his family in our thoughts and prayers, let us find solace in the comforting words of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble, with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”

Injuries and Medical Response

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Keeler to a local hospital.

The extent of his injuries was not immediately disclosed by authorities, but reports from family members indicate that he suffered severe injuries.

Keeler is reportedly dealing with a fractured skull, a brain bleed, a collapsed lung, broken ribs, a broken clavicle, and other injuries, according to a fundraising campaign set up for him.

Family and Community Support

Keeler, who is a father to a 15-year-old and a 1-month-old, is facing a challenging recovery.

His family has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support his medical expenses and recovery. Check it out here. The campaign highlights the gravity of his condition and the long road to recovery that lies ahead. The family has expressed gratitude for the donations and support from the community.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Keeler was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

As we continue to support Cody Keeler and his family during this difficult time, let us be encouraged by the promise found in Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

May this verse bring peace and hope to those affected by this accident, reminding us that we are never alone and that God’s support is always available.
