YOSEMITE VILLAGE, CA – The National Park Service is seeking visitors’ help locating two people who went missing inside California’s Yosemite National Park over the weekend.
Park officials said Sunday that Miguel Delgado and Ana Rodarte left the Bridalveil Creek Campground at around 10 a.m. Saturday for a short hike, “possibly toward Ostrander Lake.”
They had intended to return to camp “within a couple of hours” but did not return.
Delgado, 63, is described as a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes, standing 6 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing 160 pounds, and wearing a brown jacket with blue accents, an orange t-shirt, tan pants, and a backpack.
Rodarte, 40, is described as a Hispanic woman with brown hair and brown eyes, standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 198 pounds, and wearing a gray windbreaker jacket, green pants or jeans, and a blue ball cap.
Park rangers are asking anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact the National Park Service by calling 888-653-0009 or by emailing nps_isb@nps.gov.
