I agree with the statement #7. I am from the south and have lived all over the US. Everywhere else, the people will help each other with no questions asked and donβt expect to get paid. Here the only way to get help is having to pay people. Everywhere else, when walking down the road, I can say hi to someone and they say hi back and ask how I am. Not here, you say hi to someone and they look at you like, why are you talking to me look.
Hospitality doesnβt have to be just southern. It can be universal Hospitality Be a little more friendlier, Wichitans. Itβs free to be nice.
The comments in bold are more true. I have been here 7 years and I still hate it.
Hey Joe – Thanks for reading and for commenting. Sorry to hear folks aren’t friendly, we lived in Nashville for awhile and still miss the good ol’ Southern hospitality (and food) hehe. Have a great weekend! – Jack and Kitty
Hey Leo – Sorry to hear that. We love Wichita, but it’s helpful to hear from folks that have lived there awhile. Thanks for reading and for commenting. Try to have a great weekend! – Jack and Kitty
