MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA – Authorities in Massachusetts are on the lookout for a New Hampshire man wanted in connection with a burglary at a local golf course. The search for Andrew McInnes, 40, of Derry, NH, follows a break-in at the Trull Brook Golf Course in Tewksbury, MA, that took place late last month.

The Break-In at Trull Brook Golf Course

At around 2 a.m. on November 25, Tewksbury police were called to Trull Brook Golf Course after an alarm was triggered. Upon arriving, officers discovered that the glass door to the pro shop had been shattered, and the interior of the shop had been ransacked.

Items taken during the burglary included gift cards and several sleeves of golf balls. During their investigation, police were able to recover the stolen items.

Investigation Leads to Suspect’s Identification

A detailed review of local surveillance footage helped police pinpoint the suspect, Andrew McInnes. Law enforcement agencies from multiple areas, including Lowell, MA, Derry, NH, and Salem, NH, worked together to gather evidence and assist in identifying McInnes as the suspect.

His involvement was confirmed through coordinated efforts between local and state police from both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Arrest Warrant Issued for McInnes

Tewksbury Police have obtained an arrest warrant for McInnes, charging him with breaking and entering a building in the nighttime, larceny from a building, and willful and malicious destruction of property. Authorities are actively seeking information from the public and are urging anyone who may have details about McInnes’ whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be submitted anonymously.

They are hopeful that someone will come forward with additional information to help locate McInnes and bring the case to a close.
