Scripture honors mothers as a sacred gift, with Exodus 20:12 commanding respect for parents and Psalm 139:13 celebrating God’s design in the womb. Trading “mother” for a cold, clinical term dismisses the beauty of His creation. Christians should pray for wisdom in upholding truth amid shifting cultural tides.
Husband Snaps
In Readfield, Maine, Sam Whittemore, a former SpaceX engineer, allegedly murdered his yoga instructor wife, Margeaux, and nearly killed his mother, Dorothy, on February 19, 2025. Found naked in the driveway, Margeaux died in a brutal attack, while Dorothy survived severe injuries; Sam faces murder charges after a competency evaluation was ordered. The small community is left stunned, with police still piecing together the motive behind this family tragedy.
