COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio State football stars TreVeyon Henderson, Emeka Egbuka, and J.T. Tuimoloau took center stage in an unexpected and powerful way on Sunday night. In an event that drew over 800 students, the trio led a baptism ceremony outside Curl Market on North Campus.

The night was set ablaze with faith and excitement as the football heroes, along with former OSU wide receiver Kamryn Babb, shared their personal testimonies before a sea of enthusiastic attendees.

The crowd witnessed a deeply moving scene where four large tubs of water were positioned near a stage, ready for the baptisms.

The Lantern reported that the ceremony lasted nearly two hours, filled with heartfelt moments and spiritual energy. The event was organized by the Revive Student Organization, not affiliated with the official football team, but it clearly demonstrated the impact of faith within the campus community.

Caden, one of the key figures behind the event, emphasized that the players involved recently founded a group called The Courageous Athlete, highlighting their commitment to integrating faith into their athletic lives.

The evening was a testament to the incredible ways faith and sports can intersect, bringing together hundreds of students in a celebration of both.

Philippians 2:10-11 echoed through the event, reminding everyone of the power and presence of Jesus in their lives, it reads: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
