CHICAGO, IL – Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl who has gone missing from Chicago’s Southwest Side. The young girl, Payton Green, was last seen on Sunday, and her family and police are concerned for her safety.
Payton was last spotted in the 6800 block of Western Avenue. Her photo circulating online shows her with blue hair, but authorities have clarified that she currently has pink hair.
She is described as standing 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with brown eyes and a light complexion. Payton was last seen dressed in a black shirt, black leggings, and black and white Nike sneakers.
Anyone with information about Payton’s whereabouts is urged to immediately contact Chicago Police Area One Detectives at 312-747-8380. The family and police are hopeful for any leads that will help bring Payton home safely.
