Prayer for Developing a Grateful Heart
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this new day. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath in our lungs, and for Your never-ending love. We ask You, Lord, to help us develop a grateful heart, to recognize Your blessings no matter how big or small they may seem. May our hearts be filled with thanksgiving, and may we always be aware of the goodness that surrounds us.
Please bless this day and guide us in every decision we make. Protect us, Lord, and help us walk in Your peace and joy. We trust that You are with us, leading us to greater understanding and a deeper connection with You. May our hearts overflow with gratitude and our actions reflect Your love. Thank You for Your grace and protection, Lord. In Your precious name, we pray, Amen.

Today the Lord put these special verses in my heart:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Psalm 107:1 – “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
Colossians 3:15 – “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
