Prayer for the American Election
Good morning, friend. This is Jack, and I’m grateful you’re joining me in prayer today.
Heavenly Father, we come before You this morning with hearts focused on our nation during this election season. Lord, we lift up everyone involved in the electoral process to You.
Father, protect the voters as they exercise their sacred right to participate in democracy. Guard them from intimidation and keep them safe as they cast their ballots. Grant wisdom and discernment as they make their choices.
We pray for the election officials, Lord. Surround them with Your protection as they carry out their duties. Give them strength, clarity, and integrity in their work. Shield them from threats and pressure, allowing them to serve with courage and honesty.
For the candidates, Lord, we ask for Your guidance. Help them to lead with truth, honor, and genuine concern for the people they seek to serve. Calm any tensions and replace fear with faith, division with unity.
Dear friend listening, may God’s peace guard your heart and mind today. Remember that regardless of political outcomes, our ultimate hope rests in Him. May you walk in confidence, knowing that God remains sovereign over all things.
We pray for a peaceful election process, where truth prevails and where every voice is heard with respect and dignity. Let Your light shine through the confusion and uncertainty.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
