Breaking Free: A Powerful Prayer to Destroy Envy and Jealousy
Tired of envy and jealousy stealing your joy? Uncover the prayer that can break the chains and bring peace back into your life!
Hi, I’m Kitty Norton and I’d like to pray this powerful prayer for you. As you hear my voice, join along in your heart, knowing that God loves you deeply and delivers on his promises.
Matthew 18:20 says, “Where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them.” As we unite in prayer, trust that God is with us, listening and ready to answer.
Prayer To Destroy Envy And Jealousy
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus’ name. Thank you being here with us, answering our prayers according to your perfect will.
We come before You today with hearts open and humbled. Lord, You know the struggles of Your beloved child who is listening now, struggling with feelings of envy and strife in their life.
Father, we acknowledge that envy is a heavy burden and we know that You, in Your infinite wisdom and love, can lift this weight off their shoulders.
Your Word in Proverbs 14:30 tells us that “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” We stand on this truth, knowing that You desire peace and life for Your children, not the decay that envy brings.
God, Your child is feeling the strain of this struggle. They are experiencing a fierce grip of jealousy and strife, and it’s taking a toll on their heart and mind. They feel the burden of comparison and it’s stealing their joy.
They feel trapped in a cycle of negative thoughts and emotions. They need Your divine intervention to break free from this bondage.
Lord, we know that You are powerful and mighty to save. We believe that nothing is too difficult for You. You are the God of peace, the God who calms storms and heals broken hearts.
We ask right now that You reveal a solution to this struggle. Show Your child the path to peace and contentment.
In the name of Jesus, we bind the spirit of envy and strife that has taken hold in their life. We rebuke the enemy and declare that he has no power here. We claim the truth of Your Word that sets us free. Father, replace those feelings of envy with Your love and contentment. Fill their heart with Your peace and joy.
Help Your child to see themselves through Your eyes, Lord. Remind them of their unique worth and value in Your sight.
Let them rest in the knowledge that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a special plan for their life that is not dependent on comparing themselves to others.
Thank You, God, for hearing our prayer. Thank You for loving Your child and for being their ever-present help in times of trouble.
We trust that You are already at work, bringing healing and restoration to their heart.
We praise You for the victory we have in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
