KENTON COUNTY, KY – A troubling New Year’s Eve party from nearly a year ago has come back to haunt a Kentucky school principal. Recently released video footage shows two teenagers drinking alcohol from a beer bong under his supervision. Now, the educator is facing charges for allegedly providing alcohol to minors at his home.

Video Surfaces of Principal Hosting Underage Drinking

Police in Independence, Kentucky, released the footage on Thursday, showing Scott High School Principal Anthony Procaccino, 50, holding a beer bong as two teenagers drink from it.

The video dates back to New Year’s Eve 2023, when Procaccino was still the principal of Whites Tower Elementary.

Parent Complaint Sparks Investigation

The investigation began after a concerned mother, whose child appeared in the video, filed a complaint with police last weekend. She also provided police with the video evidence.

Authorities identified the teens as students from Scott High School and Simon Kenton High School, aged 16 and 17 at the time.

Principal Charged for Serving Alcohol to Minors

The Kenton County Police Department, working with the county attorney’s office, has charged Procaccino with two counts of aiding or assisting underage individuals in being served alcohol. Each charge carries a potential fine of up to $250.
