BALTIMORE, MD – Football rivalries can get heated, but one Ravens fan took it too far after Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders. A viral video has revealed the shocking aftermath: a brutal assault on two Commanders fans, prompting Baltimore police to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect.
Police Seek Ravens Fan in Assault Case
The Baltimore Police Department announced Thursday that 24-year-old John Callis, a Baltimore native, is wanted on multiple assault charges.
He faces one count of first-degree aggravated assault and three counts of second-degree assault following the incident outside the stadium after the Commanders’ narrow 23-30 loss to the Ravens.
Unprovoked Violence Caught on Camera
Video footage circulating online shows Callis attacking two men in Commanders jerseys. The victims, both 23 years old, were punched, kicked, and shoved in what police are calling unprovoked assaults.
In the video, Callis can be heard shouting, “I don’t lose! I don’t f*ing lose!” as the attacks unfold.
Employment Terminated by Insurance Company
The fallout from the assault extended beyond legal trouble for Callis. His employer, Maury Donnelly & Parr, Inc., announced on social media that he has been fired.
“MDP has a zero-tolerance policy for violence and aggressive behavior. This individual is no longer employed with our firm,” the company wrote.
Police Ask for Public’s Help
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. They also encourage residents to submit tips anonymously to help locate Callis.
