Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota – Folks eager to escape the chilly weather for spring break might face an unwelcome surprise as they head to the airport. 🌨️☃️ The National Weather Service is warning of a looming snowstorm set to hit the Twin Cities metro area just as travel is expected to peak. With forecasts calling for 3 to 5 inches of snow, and even the possibility of up to 7 inches in some areas, travelers could be in for a bumpy ride.
Busiest Days at MSP Airport
The snowstorm is set to make landfall on Thursday evening, right as Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is gearing up for its busiest days of the spring season. The airport is expecting a whopping 48,000 passengers to pass through security on both Thursday and Friday. Talk about timing, right? Uff da!
