The Truck Driver’s Quick Thinking and the Aftermath

Despite the frightening moment, the truck driver remained calm and was able to bring the vehicle to a safe stop.

“The driver of this semi did an incredible job of safely bringing the unit to a stop,” said the sheriff’s office.

Though the driver suffered minor cuts from the shattered glass, he refused transport to the hospital, as he was not seriously injured.

The sheriff’s office added, “it could have been so much worse.”
