EAGLE PASS, TX — In a dramatic weekend operation at the Camino Real International Bridge in Texas, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers intercepted a massive weapons cache bound for Mexico, potentially disrupting illegal arms trafficking operations in the region.

The officers’ suspicions were triggered during an outbound inspection of a 2001 Ford pickup truck on Saturday.
