Central Pierce Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of 246th Street Court East. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Patrol also arrived to assist.
Authorities reported that the driver was traveling north when the medical issue struck, causing the truck to veer off the road and plow through the back wall of a garage attached to the residence.
