CONYERS, GA — At just 13 years old, Joshua Suddith II has achieved what most students can only dream of by high school graduation: acceptance into 27 colleges and receiving seven full-ride scholarships. But for this humble Georgia teen, the achievements are simply steps toward a lifelong dream rooted in purpose and faith.

Early Vision, Extraordinary Results

Joshua’s journey started when he was just four years old, envisioning himself one day attending Morehouse College. That vision became a reality this year, as the prestigious Atlanta-based school welcomed him as one of its youngest accepted students. But Morehouse was far from the only one; nearly 30 schools across the country extended offers, with seven presenting full financial packages.

The young scholar’s reaction to his own success? A sense of surreal calm, matched with quiet confidence. Those close to him describe him as focused, grounded, and not one to seek the spotlight.

A School Rooted in Faith and Family Support

Joshua currently attends Hills Academy, a faith-based institution in Conyers. His principal, Bryan Hilburn, shared that Joshua prefers to keep things low-key, quietly going about his impressive accomplishments.

The teen has shown academic brilliance from an exceptionally young age. Even before his fourth birthday, he had already become a published author with a children’s book titled Brother Explorers, Go Fish.

His academic work is matched by his ambition to serve others. Joshua plans to study international affairs, with hopes of becoming a developmental engineer—motivated by a deep desire to help people across the globe.

A Family of High Achievers

Joshua isn’t the only gifted student in his family. He’s the eldest of three brothers, and all of them have skipped grades. His parents, Chaundra and Joshua Sr., express admiration and gratitude for their son’s accomplishments. For his father, watching his namesake surpass even his own milestones brings a deep sense of pride.

While his academic path is impressive, Joshua’s motivation extends beyond grades and accolades. He hopes his story encourages others to dream big and believe in their own potential.

Moment for Reflection
